Who is this storage agreement with?

This agreement is between Sentinel Security (the facility) and you as the tenant. By renting a unit, you agree to these terms.

When can I access my storage unit?

You have 24-hour access using a secure FOB entry system.

Can I share my access FOB?

No. FOBs must not be shared with unauthorised individuals.

What should I do if my FOB is lost or stolen?

You must report it immediately. You’re responsible for how your FOB is used.

Is the site monitored by CCTV?

Yes, surveillance cameras are in operation. However, the facility is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

What can I store in my unit?

Units may only be used for storing personal or business property.

Are there items I’m not allowed to store?

Hazardous, illegal, perishable, or flammable items are strictly prohibited.

Can I stay or sleep in my unit?

No. Living or sleeping in a storage unit is not permitted under any circumstances.

Do I need to keep my unit clean?

Yes. You must keep your unit clean and in good order at all times.

When is rent due?

Rent is due monthly, on the 1st of each month.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Late fees may apply after 10 days, and access may be restricted for non-payment.

Can my access be denied for non-payment?

Yes. The facility may apply a lockout until payments are brought up to date.

How do I end my storage agreement?

Either party can terminate the agreement with 14 days’ written notice.

What do I need to do when I vacate the unit?

You must remove all items and leave the unit clean.

What happens to items left behind?

Any items left may be disposed of or sold in line with applicable lien laws.

Is the facility responsible for damage or loss?

No. The facility is not liable for loss or damage to stored items.

Should I insure my belongings?

Yes. Tenants are encouraged to arrange their own insurance.

Can the terms and conditions change?

Yes. The facility may update the terms with 30 days’ notice.

Which law governs this agreement?

The agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
